A grateful soul is a soul at peace. As people, we often strive for more, want more, look for something else, because we don’t stop to appreciate what we already have. Instead of desiring more or focusing on what you don’t have, shift the looking-glass and see the gifts in your life. Girlies, be grateful for your family and friends. Be grateful for the things taken for granted like hearing birds chirping in the spring or seeing our dog, Lucy, play in the snow or having a home or eating healthy food. Appreciate that you can run, skip, jump, laugh and play. Be grateful for your good health, nature’s gifts, books, music, and art. There is beauty within you and all around you.
